WE HAVE AVAILABILITY FOR SUMMER 2026 TRAVEL PLANNING
Golden Thread Travel Design began quietly, organically, and long before there was ever a name put to it.
We were already designing travel this way for ourselves, always building trips around feeling, flow, and meaning rather than checklists or trends. We cared about how a journey unfolded in our souls - how it felt to arrive, how days connected to one another, and how small moments became lasting memories.
We have always done things a little differently, fully immersing ourselves in how a journey might feel in person as we plan. Thinking of how tired we might be, will our hands be full of luggage, did we eat yet that day, will it likely be raining, will the streets be full of the culture we're expecting at this place and time? The questions go on. We've even used our Meta Quest to walk the streets of a new place while planning so we can get an idea if the landscape feels quaint or grand, busy or slow, cute or...not so cute.
Along the way, as we shared stories, photos, and thoughtfully crafted itineraries with friends and family, people began to notice something: our trips had an element of magic to them. They usually played out flawlessly, turning what was on paper into seamless, effortless real-life travel. Questions like "how on earth did you find that activity" and requests for advice and travel planning rolled in...and never stopped.
And with that, Golden Thread Travel Design was born.
What started as something personal became something we realized brought real joy to others. Golden Thread Travel Design began with a mission to share our ability to craft travel that feels emotionally cohesive, deeply considered, and uniquely creative. That mission continues today through the amazing adventures of our clients.
Golden Thread Travel Design is intentionally small and fully human. We take on a limited number of clients at a time so every journey receives focused attention, creativity, and care. There are no templates, no outsourcing, and no assembly-line itineraries - every journey is unique and approached as such.
We’ve been designing travel long before AI tools existed. While technology can find options, it can’t imagine experience. AI can’t sense pacing, emotional rhythm, or how a journey should breathe. We design by mentally walking your trip in advance, refining its flow, transitions, and tone so that what you experience in real life feels natural, intuitive, and a little bit magical.
Golden Thread Travel Design is independent. We’re not affiliated with airlines, hotels, tour operators, or corporate travel brands, and we don’t receive incentives for steering you toward specific products. Every recommendation is made because it serves your experience, not someone else’s agenda or commission structure.
We specialize in the space between budget travel and ultra-luxury, focusing on thoughtful upgrades, meaningful splurges, and elevated moments that truly matter. Not everything needs to be elevated, but, the right experience at the right time can truly transform a journey.

I design travel by stepping fully into the traveler’s perspective. I mentally “walk” the trip in advance, refining its rhythm until it feels completely right.
Before a single step is taken, I can see a journey unfolding. I can sense how it flows, where it needs pause, where it should build, and whether it feels cohesive and realistic from beginning to end.
Trips shouldn’t be just a checklist. They should have a tone, a texture, and a golden thread running throughout. Some journeys are anchored around meaningful celebrations or milestone events. Others are shaped by the spirit of a destination itself. My role is to find the emotional cornerstone and design around it with intention.

As the owner and founder of The November Group, LLC, a full-service operations consulting company, I bring a strong organizational foundation to every itinerary including clarity, pacing, structure, and a practiced eye for detail. Combining instinct, creativity, and operational detail allows the traveller to feel the magic without feeling the effort.
My own travel style often anchors around symbolic events that reflect what we’re experiencing in life at the time. I pair meaningful moments with deep immersion in the culture and texture of a place. I believe travel becomes most powerful when it mirrors where we are personally, while also inviting us to step fully into somewhere new.
I’m also a believer in thoughtful, targeted upgrades. Not everything needs to be elevated, but the right experience, the right view, the right seat, or the right stay can transform a journey. In my experience, the only things you truly regret are the moments you chose not to have.
My favorite international destinations include the United Kingdom, Vancouver Island, BC, and Paris, France. Closer to home, I’m drawn to the DC metro area, New England, and the Pacific Northwest.

Outside of Golden Thread and my love of travel, I’m a wife and mother of two, a consulting professional, photographer, farm-owning equestrian, concert-going enthusiast, avid Disney and Harry Potter fan, and a voracious reader. I’m based in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.
